Basic Drone
F# A dirty sounding instrument with a dramatic shape. The smooth taper and large bell lends this yidaki a boomy sound - loud volume with lots of bass, but very little high end harmonics. This one is all about putting power behind the drone frequency. Code 2395-AI SOLD |
Basic
Drone D An odd looking instrument that plays fast and furious. Irregular shape and wood grain shows through. Sound is heavy on midrange, but capable of high harmonics. Horn tone is further away from the drone than normal but is easy to achieve due to the tightness of the instrument. Code 2460-JI SOLD |

Drone E This is a very nicely decorated yidaki, with the cross hatch over a natural wood background rather than a flat colour base as usual.
