(interviewer: If someone is learning to play yidaki, should they learn their own way, or learn Yol\u style?)

It's up to him. Ask him. If anybody buy one yidaki from you, ask him, what's this for? For |^paki manikay or Yol\u manikay (non-Yol\u or Yol\u song)? If he says Yol\u, right, manikay, wherever manikay (wherever Yol\u song is being sung), you ring to him, come to manikay. And then he will sit and listen. That's the only way he can pick it up. And then he make proud of himself. He can make money or whatever. (laughs)
