Yidaki is not like a guitar or ukulele
or bass or drum. It's all coming from the ancestors who were giving
to
those particular tribes that they can play didjeridu. And those
tribes, they knew what is the yidaki and where the yidaki comes
from. It's all coming from the land. When you see a tree standing
up there, it's coming from the land, you know? And that yidaki was
chopped off, or took it off from the tree. It was used for particular
ceremony. |
