1972
to 1973, I was one of the team of the Cultural Foundation and I
used to travel a lot. Every time I went past Katherine, past Northern
Territory, I never seen yidaki before, with Yol\u (Aboriginal)
People. I can see people using just the boomerang. It's like a
didjeridu for them. For us, we had a didjeridu, and it was completely
different. Dhiya\u bala (nowadays), the yidaki, it's all
over Kimberly, right across to South Australia, right up to Western
Australia,
North Australia, all using yidaki. |
